Technical Round Interview Questions:
  • Explain De-Morgan'sLaw.
  • Sorting algorithms and efficiency.
  • Difference between 8085 and 8086..
  • Define different types of normalization.
  • Define primary key, foreign key, data mining, data warehouses,deadlocks, SQL queries.
  • Difference between C and C++?
  • Difference between C and Java?
  • Define OOP concepts- abstraction, polymorphism, inheritence, etc.
H.R. Round Interview Questions:
  • Introduce yourself.
  • Tell about your native place.
  • What is your hobby?
  • Where do you see yourself after 5 years?
  • What salary are you expecting?
  • Why I should hire you?
  • Tell me about your one good and one bad experience.
  • Rate interviewer on the scale of 10.
  • Are you comfortable with relocation?

Candidate Interview Experience

Hi, I am Rahul from IET, Lucknow.
I would like to share my first interview experience with Genpact.

1) Group Discussion: 

In this round they filtered around 64 from around 260 students.
Just concentrate on pronunciation and rate of speech.

2) Written test:

(quant, English, logical ability quant was very easy just the basics logical ability was also English passages, phrases ie alternative for the bold phrases something like that.

Then 3 synonyms.

Logical ability: blood relations-2, directions-2and just general).

3) Telephonic Interview.

Hr :hello what's your name?
Me: My name is.

Hr: Tell me about yourself?
Me: Told.

Hr: Then asked questions from it and asked about my college why have you selected it.
Me: Told.

We were given a set of passages.

Hr: Asked to read the passage nno.
Me: Read (around 4-5 lines).

Hr: Its nice talking to you.
Me: Thank you sir.

And the results were announced I got selected feeling very happy.
